Beautiful Design

I just got this and already need to write a review as I’ve been playing with it all evening. First, it is beautiful and works great as a tripod and stabilizer. But, things like the way the little tool pops up when you want to use it and the smooth way the legs make me feel like a secret agent. Lock that guy back up and let’s see what else he can come up with!

Compact and goes with you everywhere

It is slim and nearly invisible. You don’t have to settle for a selfie. A photo opportunity can present itself anywhere and the tripod is here with me. I have used it to take starry night sky photos in an impromptu. Sometimes you find yourself at a viewpoint when adventuring with friends.

How many times have you had to balance your phone on a random rock to take a photo? Problem solved.
I’m one of those people who often skips bringing a big, heavy tripod because it’s just too much hassle. That’s why this is the perfect solution for me: a mini tripod that’s smaller than a wallet and fits right in your pocket.
The idea is simply genius. It has small legs that fold out so you can use your phone as a tripod in both vertical and horizontal orientations—and you can set it up in literally 2 seconds.
The quality is everything you’d expect from Peak Design: metal construction, impeccable attention to detail, and everything fits together perfectly.
So, stop relying on that random rock you found on the trail and use a proper tripod. Nature will thank you (and so will the quality of your photos).

Great, with a little QA issue

All in all works great. Sturdier and more stable than expected. However, one of the rubber feet on my unit is smaller than the rest. It's a minor detail and does not impact functionality, but given the cost of this item it should have been caught in QA.

I’ve been trying to figure out something for all those times when I don’t want to hold my phone. This tripod works in so many situations. Zoom calls, movies even an “extra” screen for when my other monitors are full! Feels very well made.

Fantastic photos

I was using a pop socket, but wanted to try Peak Designs gear. The tripod is the answer to my solo photo and video dilemma's. I am a mountain biker and like to critique myself through video's when I'm sessioning new skills. This thing rocks! Lightweight, sturdy, thin, and versatile. You don't need a flat surface...I love it!
