One of the coolest bags I have owned that truly looks and feels high quality. The 35L is perhaps too big for a dedicated gym bag (my original use), but the extra space is appreciated for weekend trips. The bag has thoughtful pocket design and other nice features like the thief-deterrent zippers and different locations where you can put the handles/straps. The only reason this bag doesn't get 5 stars is due to minor flaws. 1) the handle magnets are very weak, and without a physical clasp it makes carrying the bag less comfortable. 2) the handles are quite poor as backpack straps. It would be better if you had two of the longer strap. Other than that, a great bag
Fantastic duffle. I have a bunch of PD bags for photography so I actually bought this duffle for the gym. It's amazing. So much room, large opening to access my stuff, and the symmetry is beautiful. I use some other PD packing bags to separate my stuff. Like I have the clothing packing cube for my change of clothes, and one of those ultra light packing sacks for gym gear; straps, bands, etc. I love seeing my PD duffle in the gym next to everyone else's cheap "sports" brand bags. I am curious why the 35L doesn't come with the carry strap thing that hold the two handles together, it would be useful to me.
I have been looking at replacing my travel duffle for awhile now. After getting an everyday backpack last year and loving it I decided to get one from Peak Design. I love the size, the pockets, everything about it. This one will definitely hold up better long term.
The coyote duffel feels so amazing to the touch and the cross stitch patterns are well…amazing, I use this duffel to go to gym every week and even take my wife’s change of clothes. My girlfriend and I use the duffel for a carry on under the seat and no one knows. Alright! I’m officially in the mile high club because of this bag. On a serious note, we had an evacuation situation and with the packing cubes we were able to take what we needed and not worry about thing, Life is good with a peak design duffel, even better with water proof coyote patten. My wife, girlfriend and baby pictures thank peak design.
I have been using this babe for several weeks and it’s works perfect for how I intended to use it, as a gym bag. I can fit two pairs of shoes, gym gear, supplements, dob kit etc. The only issue I’ve had is the hand straps stay together by magnet. They were always departing and dangling so I removed them completely to on my use the shoulder strap. This is not a big deal for me. Another spec that would be nice is a divider to separate shoes from other items. Great bag otherwise so far.
