Decent knife for EDC

My first review was blocked because I didn’t rave about the Pentagon XR being the best. What I actually said was that I purchased the Tac XR, the Vision XR and the Pentagon XR all at the same time and the Pentagon was in third place. The Vision XR grip, jimping and balance of the blade all exceed the Pentagon XR…in my opinion. I’m a retired law enforcement officer and have carried many different blades throughout my career and now as an EDC. I prefer the Vision XR because it fits what I and looking for. The Pentagon XR is still a nice knife and may very well suit many people, but the lack of blade jimping, thinness of the blade, straight grip angle and lack of balance make it my lest favorite of the three I purchased. Apparently my honest review was blocked so take that for what it’s worth.

This knife is hands down one of the best knives I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It looks cool, it’s sharp, holds and edge, and I love the size. The blade is thin but this is meant more for a EDC/tactical knife. I bought this knife for my son but I actually want one for myself now haha.

EDC Almost for a year! I absolutely love this knife. Had to adjust 1 time and used threadlock, no issues since. This knife is strong, gorgeous, and dependable. As a bonus, it is just fun to fidget with the smooth open and close system. 99.9% perfect..... because nothing man-made is 100%. I want this thing in every option available, but had to choose one... black on black is the only way!

This is a really cool looking pocket knife. I am a knife collector and this one is a keeper. I like everything about it including the blade shape, the blade material CRYO CTS XHP, the smooth action deployment of the blade, the locking system, handle material, pocket clip, and just overall quality of this pocket knife! The handle has just the right grip and this knife fits nicely in your pocket. For me it's the perfect EDC and in extreme cases a great defensive weapon! I would definitely buy this knife again especially at the great price point. I bought this knife from their website and also have to say their customer service is outstanding and the shipping was very fast! This is my third SOG knife in their XR Series and I am very happy with all of them! There are a couple of more knives in their lineup that I would like to have but I have to cool it for a while before I get too carried away moneywise.

I purchased this blade on a whim, much like several others that are rotated through my EDC. The blade shape is what gained my attention first, colors second, the locking feature, followed up by the reversible pocket clip. It's pretty stout and sturdy, and fits my hand well. All great features. Great product!
