Peak makes a better MagSafe case than Apple

I expected a good case with marginal MagSafe. What I got was better than Apple's own cases in every way - it looks better, has a stronger magnetic attachment to MagSafe accessories, and even charges faster. Well done Peak Design.

Excellent balance between utility and aesthetics

There are a few reasons to have a phone case. Protecting the phone is the obvious reason, followed by fashion and personal expression. Then for nerds and creatives, there's the ability to get some 'utility' out of the case, mounting it on tripods for photography, etc.
The Peak Design Everyday Case is 100% a utility case, but it does it without the bulk and aesthetic ugliness usually associated with cases in this category. I love that, when I'm *not* attaching it to a camera tripod, a GoPro mount, or my motorcycle handlebars, I don't immediately feel compelled to take the case off and put something a little svelter on instead. It's both slim enough to fit comfortably in the pocket in my obligatory geriatric-millennial skinny jeans, and its understated textured aesthetic appeals (to me, at least).
When it comes to utility and protection, it gets excellent marks in both cases. The case is in the 'suspended rigid shell' category, which I've had good experiences with in the past when dropping my phone. It doesn't feel like the phone is about to pop out every time you bump against something (looking at you, iPhone 12 and onwards Apple Leather Case), and it doesn't feel like I'm using the phone through a pelican case (Otterbox). So far I've used the magnetic clip primarily to mount my phone onto my hiking pack via the Creator Kit and a GoPro mount, but it's enough to appreciate the value of the system. Having internal clips that lock the magnet mount in place gives me a lot of confidence I'm not going to lose the phone down the side of a scramble if I slip and land a little hard.
I also appreciate that there's integrated magsafe charger pass through that works flawlessly in spite of the small hump the magnetic clip system adds to the back of the case.
Pretty much the only gripe I could find with this case is that on mine, there's a slightly sharp-feeling burr on the join between the sides of the case and the rear shell. It's not enough to injure me, but it does have a slightly unpleasant feeling under the fingers when you inadvertently touch that part of the case. I suspect it's just manufacturing excess - I may have a go at it with some fine-grit sandpaper at some point.

Perfect case!

I bought this for my new IPhone and it not only fits so perfectly and snug it’s a very sleek design. I love the finger loop on it as well, don’t miss out on the collapse panels for ease of use!

Great iPhone case!

I have bought all different brands of iPhone cases for a couple years. I was never happy because if it was either too thick and bulky or it wasn’t compatible with wireless charging. This case is different, it protects my phone, it’s not bulky, lightweight, wireless charging compatible, and I can attach it to my bike and car! I LOVE IT! …If you’re planing to use your phone in different settings, invest in this case and their accessories, it is worth it!

Good case, Great system

This case is good in all the ways you would want for a protective case. It’s thick enough to pad against drops but not too bulky. It has a moderate amount of texture so it isn’t slippery but still slides in your pocket easily. The system it integrates with, though, makes it great! It all just works

Great slim protective case

Been rocking the sage case for the iPhone 14 pro. The color way is great and case feels slim and protective. MagSafe magnet is strong and works well with my PD accessories!
