Like the results thus far, but mask if already falling apart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within just a few uses, one of the expandable "chin" extension has come out of its socket and dangles loosely. Given the money spent, this is disappointing. I paid extra for return privileges. Here's hoping Mito will do right and replace it.

After Testing 28+ LED Masks, This Is the One I Finally Vouch For

A five star review for an LED face mask.I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years, and I have tested and reviewed more than 28 LED masks that were sent to me to try. I have extremely high standards when it comes to what I recommend for the skin, and none of them made me feel comfortable enough to truly vouch for them.MitoGLOW changed that for me.One of the biggest things that stood out to me is the design. The mask hovers over the face instead of sitting directly against the skin. For me, that is a huge difference. I have always had concerns with masks that sit directly on the skin from a hygiene and heat standpoint. I personally don’t want something sitting against my freshly treated skin, trapping heat and creating an environment I don’t feel is ideal, especially when pigmentation is a concern.The fact that MitoGLOW has 1,064 individual LEDs is another major highlight. It gives this mask a level of light coverage that I rarely see in a home LED mask. It also has four wavelengths: 465 nm blue, 590 nm amber, 630 nm red, and 830 nm near infrared.And the amber light is probably my favorite part.I think 590 nm amber light deserves so much more attention in the beauty industry. It is a wavelength I find particularly calming, and there is emerging research looking at its relationship with redness, pigmentation and inflammatory pathways.Then you have the red light, which I think of as a collagen bank. The more consistently you invest in your skin, the more you’re investing in maintaining that collagen and supporting the overall appearance of the skin over time.The blue light is another major plus because 465 nm blue light is specifically used for breakout focused treatments.So essentially, you can build an entire skincare routine around one device. Red for your long term skin investment, blue when breakouts are the concern, amber when you want something more calming, and near infrared as part of your deeper renewal routine.Another thing I personally love about the noncontact design is that I feel comfortable incorporating it into post treatment care after procedures such as lasers and chemical peels. Of course, always consult with your skincare professional before using LED after a procedure, and make sure you’re getting advice from an actual qualified professional who understands your skin and the treatment you had.After testing more than 28 LED masks, this is the first one I have actually continued using consistently. That alone says a lot.I genuinely cannot believe I’m finally giving an LED face mask five stars, but MitoGLOW is the first one I can honestly say I vouch for.

Can't get the mask tight enough

Comfortable mask, well built

I like this mask better than my wife’s silicone mask because it doesn’t rest directly on your face, which makes it more comfortable to wear.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wonder if the eye cups block too much light from reaching the skin around the eyes. I’d be interested to hear if someone from Mito Red could comment on whether this affects treatment in that area.Other than that, it’s a really well-designed mask. I also appreciate that the battery isn’t built in and appears to be replaceable if it ever needs to be replaced, which should help extend the life of the device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Mito Glow a little over a month ago and I told no one of my purchase About 2 weeks after my purchase I had a couple of coworkers and a patient commented about how clear my skin looked Right then I knew MITO GLOW was a winner .The easiest mask to use. So comfortable to wear and I love that it has LED all around mouth area . No need to research or look at others to compare Mito Glow is the best on the market.
