Long Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these batteries in my old faithful Mag Light flashlight and they provide very bright light and so far are still going strong.

Not good for smoke detector

I just replaced 6 batteries in smoke detectors in November. Here it is Dec 21 and at midnight, of course, one of them was chirping. Sadly I can't trust the rest of them now and will have to go with the actual recommended ones that are imprinted on the detectors themselves. I hadn't noticed that until I purchased the Rayovac ones as I use them in everything else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great For smoke detector

Always on the Lookout for a Long Lasting Battery

I am satisfied that with their 9volt battery in my smoke detector that I am in good hands.

May have saved my life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Rayovac 9V 4-Pack HIGH ENERGY™ Alkaline Batteries in exchange for my honest review. A couple months before receiving these batteries I had changed the batteries in my smoke detector and it had acted a little strange, but it did go off when I tested it. When I received these batteries, even though it was early I changed it to one of the HIGH ENERGY batteries and discovered the smoke alarm wasn't working at all! I tried the other battery, just in case the new battery was defective, it didn't work either. Thanks to receiving these batteries I got a new smoke alarm and it may save my life!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using these Rayovac 9V batteries in our smoke detectors for many years. They never corrode and they keep charge a very long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use these for our smoke detectors. Lived in this house for three years, and the smoke detectors expired before the batteries quit working. So of course, this was our first choice for batteries when we loaded the new ones.
