Filtrete™ Healthy Living 1500

We own a 200 year old house and this filter works amazing. We have used these filters for 14 years and the air has improved greatly inside the house. The only improvement we see is to make the filter more affordable.

Two are better than one!

The way our AC/Heating unit was built into the house, we are able to place a larger square filter in the bottom part of the door, then also a smaller rectangular filter located on the bottom of the central unit. So, we end up getting double filtration, which we really enjoy. If you think that just one Filtrete filter does a great job, just imagine what two working together will do! We love it!

After replacing a filter of a lower rating it was quite apparent that this new filter trapped more particles over lest time than it's predecessor. great job.. wish the filters were a little easier to install ( 1 mm. less on each side would be a big help).

Great product

We always use this filter and are very happy. Lately, though, the filter seems to be a little bit warped. Not sure if it is a problem with handling by the retailer, or a glitch in production. It is very slight, but makes it pretty difficult to fit the filter into the spot. Other than that, very happy with the filtration.

Filters are buckling after only 8 days

I have a new HVAC system with a ceiling return. Every 8 days I go through a filter. The filter will start to buckle at the edges and actually start to fold and get pulled into the return. Its over 100 degrees here and the AC runs a lot. There is no source of dust nearby like a road or field or construction. A three month filter that self destructs in 8 days is a poor return on investment. And these filters are not cheap. The same problem occurs with the 1000 rated filter too. Very disappointed.

Really cuts down on visible dust . . .

Wood floors tend to show everything. Since using this filter there has been no visible dust, even with the sunlight hitting. Super product!

Great job of filteration

Great filtration of air however has a tendancy to bend near the center of the filter after a short period of use. Possible reinforcing the frame would cure this. Beyond this it keeps our home clean and fresh.

The proof is in the used filter after three months. The main intake filter is testament to the amount of hair and dander in the air that you don't even realize is there!
