A wonderful filter for reducing household dust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 12x12 basic quality filter with the Filtrete 1500 Ultra Allergen Filter a few weeks ago and have seen a significant reduction in the dust build up on my furniture. So this means there is less dust in my household air!

You get what you pay for!!

And I didn't want to put those cheap unmarked filters in my furnace after many people told me that a quality filter will help your furnace last longer and provide better air quality. So I took the recommendation and stuck with the Filtrete brand. I decided the 1500 was a good fit for me and I've never regretted it. I had a furnace inspection done recently and was told my furnace is so clean because I'm using a quality filter. I change it religiously every 3 months and it's doing a fantastic job. I won't buy any other brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these for years. I usually use the 1500. It catches a ton-o-dust and the air seems to smell better after a filter change — maybe that's my imagination or maybe not.
I have lung issues, and for now the 1500 is a good balance between capturing small particles and not putting the maximum burden on my aging blower motor. I may go with higher MPR/MERV values when I get a new HVAC system.

I purchase one of your other filters and seen that it did not preform as well, when I purchase the Healthy living filter, I saw a big difference, my wife were able to sleep better
at night and there was less dust on top of my frig,

Years ago I started buying this 1500 filter because I lived in a manufactured home and the filter went in the middle of the house on the floor. The sound was so much quieter than lesser filters, I suppose due to the way it is made. My electric bill was also much lower. I never go past the 3 month replacement recommendation and if I need to change it sooner (depends on the season) I will. I am now in a house and continue to buy and look for it to go on sale. Some people don't think this higher rating makes any difference but I sure do. It also makes me feel good that I am taking care of my air conditioner.
