Makes good medium browned toast when I want it, but after the first set of two toasted, I have to count another 30 seconds on the 2nd batch, and then hit cancel to get it where I want. Running another minute will burn it. I usually use the third and fourth dot settings for my family. Please note that it does say not to make pop tarts with this toaster. I wish I knew that before we bought it because it was the actual reason we bought a stand alone toaster. However we have tried it on the lowest setting and they came out fine. We didn’t put any broken or cracked pop tarts in. I think it would be a safety/cleaning issue if they break in there so we haven’t tried it since.
