Good idea, but hard to use one handed

We installed this on my son's closet door because it opened into the closet & not outward into the room. Door needs to be completely shut in order to work. You need both hands to open the lock. With our lever handles, the lock needs to be fully disengaged. I think it would work really well on slimmer handles.

Great to install, hard to remove

This lock was very simple to install and was able to keep my very smart 2 year old from opening doors. However, now that he's 4 and we no longer need it, it is impossible to remove. There are no videos or instructions anywhere about how to remove it. Luckily I only put them on 2 doors in the house and not all of them.

Great concept

This is a great concept for a door that has a lever lock. I have not been using it for long but seems like it would become a hassle if it needed to be used all of the time. The way you need to is your hand to unlock it is a bit difficult. This would be an amazing product for a door that does not need to be accessed frequently.

This was super easy to place on the door and serves its purpose of preventing kids to go into a room you do not want them in. I would buy more of these if necessary!
