Some of our older Thermacells no longer work.Otherwise the ones that do are very effective.

Ordering refills is very impressive. Very quick delivery time (usually 2 days). However, older models and a few of the new ones are not working. They seem to "wear out" way too quickly and they refuse to ignite.
Pros: Fishing, Hunting, Backyard, Porch/deck, Garden, berry picking

I am a mosquito magnet. Like an open bar at a wedding. Like a free buffet. This is a great product, and I recommend THERMACELL to anyone, friends and strangers. IF I HAD to complain, it would be great if the pads lasted as long as the butane cartridge (I have to wait for it to cool to replace pad--and the mosquitoes know it. Buzz!) GET THIS PRODUCT--YOU CAN TRULY ENJOY THE OUTDOORS!

My wife sits on the ground picking pineneedles from the landscape stones, and it takes about two weeks to do the job.
Sitting in one spot for a long period makes you a target for the mosquitoes.
I heard about thermacell several years ago, but I was not sure if it worked.
After the purchase, my wife and I are believers in your product and have a customer for life.
Now my wife sits for hours working in the garden unmolested.
Great product, I would highly recommend it it you want to be bite free.
