Filtrete 1500 Furnace Filter

The only filter I use and recommend. We have used this for many years. This will help greatly in reducing dust in the home, which is evident by less need for cleaning. That equals to money savings in my book.

Only Filter for Me

I have an unusual size, so buying on-line or calling to order is the easiest for me. I have cats. I vacuum weekly, dusting is optional as it doesn't seem to be dusty with these filters. I also find that replacing them is not as often as advised. Every 6 months for me. Living in California - use both air/heat but not as often as for most people around the country. For a reminder, I mark the date on the side of the filter before I install. My mom is allergic to cat dander and doesn't appear to have a problem when visiting. I attribute it to the filters.

Effective and high quality

Because our 2 youngest children suffer with seasonal allergies, we have been using 3M Ultra Allergy 1500's for more that 10 years. Always the excellent 3M sturdy quality construction and seems to help with our family allergy issues.

I've used the Filtrete 1500 for over 15 yrs. My wife's allergies are better and the house air is much nicer. Just can't see changing to anything else.

Excellent filter!!!!!!

I started using this Filtrete filter (1500) after having brain surgery and treatments. I needed something that would really remove all of the allergens and microbs form the air. Within an hour of using the filter, I could tell and extreme difference in my condo. When I wake up in the morning, I'm not coughing. Great product. A MUST buy!

No more allergy symptoms!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has severe pollen allergies resulting in runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing,sore throat etc. A doc recommended the Filtrete filters at 1500 or higher performance for him. I inserted it in our central air furnace and could not believe the difference! He slept well all night without a sniffle or stuffed up nose! These filters really work exceptionally well. Now I have to convince his school to install them because he and many other classmates suffer from allergies and it makes it hard on them to perform their best. Trust me, these work great. I stocked up on them and they are even tax deductible as a medical need!

Odor Reduction
