Great Value and High Convenience!

Honestly, I’m pretty happy with this Hamilton Beach (the 49630-MX). I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something that worked, and this definitely hits the mark.
My favorite part is the programmable auto-start. Setting it up the night before so the coffee is already waiting for me when I stumble into the kitchen is a lifesaver. Also, a huge plus is that it comes with its own permanent filter. I can't tell you how many times I’ve run out of paper filters in the past and had my morning ruined—now that's not even an issue anymore.
It’s definitely not a high-end espresso machine, but for the price, it's honestly great. If you want something reliable that doesn't cost a fortune, I’d say go for it.

We have had 3 Hamilton Beach coffee makers in the last since 2005. Eleven of those years, we had very hard water. That tells me this is a great product. The only one we will buy.

I Miss It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are very few things I miss about my previous job, but I miss our HB 12-cup office coffee maker! I'll admit . . . even though it belonged to the company and not to me personally, I considered packing it up and taking it with me when I retired. But I resisted the life of crime, and I left it in the office for my replacement to enjoy. It always quickly brewed a great cup of coffee for my co-workers and me. Should I go back to having an office job so I have an excuse to buy another one of these??? Nah . . . but it's tempting!
I would recommend this to a friend!
