Exceptionally poor packaging

I'd rate the new package an F-.
I tried 3 different scissors, all failed.
Finally, used a tip snip from the tool shed. Worked perfectly but too heavy for my wife to carry around. Looking forward to the packaging as shown on your web.

The optimized packaging design can be opened via a simple 2-step opening method aiming to make the batteries accessible for seniors. In designing the packaging, we’ve been careful to ensure that hearing aid users can access our batteries quickly and easily. That’s why the packaging also features clear on-pack instructions supported by visual icons explaining the opening process.
• Make sure you are sitting down with your battery pack and a pair of scissors, ideally over a table.
• Carefully make two small cuts at the highlighted scissors slots at the bottom edge of the pack.
• Once both cuts are made, bend the top dial up to release the battery. Then close the flap, rotate the dial, and repeat the steps as needed.
• Remove the tab and allow it to breathe for one minute.
• Place your battery inside your hearing aid.
• Be sure to store any loose batteries safely and out of reach of children

child proof package

This is 2nd pack of batteries I have bought . No problem with the batteries, but the packaging is terrible . This child proof is also senior proof !! I am not weak in the hands and cannot get the battery out even with scissors without a major operation . I think of the elderly, living alone who have no assistance . Suggest a little less of child proof and more senior friendly .

So difficult to remove individual batteries

It takes great pressure to cut through the plastic encasing the batteries. Then you have little shards of hard plastic that cut like broken glass. I end up removing all six at one time, then storing them loosely, which defeats the concept of child resistance.
