Not What I Usually Expect

I usually really like Scotch-Brite products, so I was surprised when the sponge I bought today turned out to be ripped right out of the package. It’s not the end of the world, but it was disappointing since I expected it to last. I’m hoping this was just a one-off defect, because the brand is normally very reliable.

Why the change???

I have been using this sponge for decades. The only one I use for washing all of my dishes. Since the sponge is now made from recyclable material, the quality of the sponge has greatly diminished. It does not last as long as it did, does not hold onto dish liquid as long as it did - I am constantly adding more dish soap to the sponge (I do not wash dishes in a tub of dirty, soapy water, I run the faucet to wash and rinse). I am very disappointed of this change in material.

very poor product quality -- on new purchase

My recent purchase, I found the sponge portion smaller in depth by 1/8", which does not allow proper cleaning and I noticed the gentle clean scrub side is much more coarser than before and thinner. I have purchased the prior version for over 40 years, so sad to see this change for worst. Barcode shows same product number.

New sponges feel chinzy.

They removed 1/3 of the sponge part. It's just not the same. Why did you remove 1/3 of the sponge thickness Scotch Brite? I loved your sponges but not anymore. You ruined a great product just to make more money. This is not the way to stay successful and keep your customers.

Great color, does the job!

A Delicate Situation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the delicate care sponge to clean my whirlpool tub. The surface is one you don't want to scratch.
I use my spray on cleaner and use the scrub side on the tub. It takes the ring around the tub off great and doesn't scratch the surface.
My hat's off to you for making such a wonderful product that I can use with confidence!
