Poor Charging ability, it appears that the "charge rate" is not as good as with the "equivalent mains charger" that is also 65W.
SO since its powered by the car Battery/Car Alternator (work truck - big diesel - has TWIN Alternators and can supply enough capacity to run a full house if needed!!
Thus the"input" power is not the issue here, then only thing left is the "CHARGER ITSELF">
We also have a similar charger (non-Lenovo unit) that works at charging our NEW X1 THINK PAD gen 6 Machines. We only going by what time it takes from " battery low alarm" to FULLY CHARGE STATE.... to compare units.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This this the perfect accessory for on the go laptops and tablets with USB-C power ports. I've noticed it doesn't really charge while the laptop is being heavily used but it keeps it from decreasing in battery power. However when the laptop is off it seems to charge fine but is a little slower than the AC adapter. Still if you do lots of work from your car or truck this is a must and performs flawlessly!
