Great Range hood for the price had a Braun B58 Costing 6 times more

The CFM of the Braun was 600 cfm not enough need 750 or greater

cooking ,or even frying .cleaning is so easy .with self cleaning there is no greasysticky stains any more .

Very nice vent hood for the money

I've only had this hood for two weeks. So far, it works really well. The hood seems well made with some nice design features. We mounted it ourselves. A few challenges reaching the two rear screws but nothing we couldn't overcome. Overall very pleased. We formally owned a Vent-a-Hood and this hood seems to work as well for a lot less money.

Top notch kitchen exhaust fan!

Elegant stainless steel exhaust fan. Quiet but powerful. Four exhaust settings with led lights, clock and timer in an under cabinet mount. And, it has a self cleaning function. That puts it over the top in my book! Five stars!

Excellent exhaust fan

We changed from internal to external exhaust with this model. We could not be more pleased with it’s performance. It is quite powerful. Removing any aerosol byproduct of cooking is quick and effective. The self cleaning capability of this is also a great benefit.

Everything is good but even though it has a self-cleaning function, it is difficult to take the parts apart to do the cleaning. The hinges are to small and difficult to align. The clock didn't work and hard to set. The instruction manual is not detail enough to follow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did a *bunch* of research before choosing this and I am so pleased that I did. I love this design, it looks great, works extremely well. I love the features of so many fan speed options, I love the grease guard and self cleaning feature (tho I still have not used that yet) and the lights are just right. Bright but not harsh. I appreciate the customer support as well.
It is a serious piece of machinery and was NOT easy to install, mostly because it's incredibly heavy. (We used a car jack because we didn't have professional cabinet lifts -because who does?- and that was tricky.) I found the directions slightly confusing, and one of the small plastic pieces (the flap) broke, but Hauslane had pretty quick response with tech support suggestions when I reached out, so that was overall pretty good.
TL;DR This is an excellent hood vent from what seems to be an good company.

The Hauslane vent does exactly has advertised. I have not used the steam cleaning feature yet, but have high hopes it will work great also.
