Solid Upgrade — Strong Suction and Clean Design

We installed the Hauslane UC-PS38 and it's been a solid upgrade from our old hood. The stainless steel finish looks clean and modern, and it matches the rest of our appliances really well. Suction is strong even on low settings, with even more power on the higher settings for heavy-duty cooking. Even with heavy stovetop cooking like searing steaks or stir-frying, smoke and odors clear out fast.
It runs quieter than I expected, especially on the lower fan speeds. The LED lights are bright enough to actually be useful while cooking, not just decorative. Installation took a bit of patience, but the instructions were clear, and nothing felt cheap or flimsy once it was up.

Powerful and does the job!

I've been using this range hood since 2022 and it has performed very well. It's the only one I was able to find that offers a high CFM rating which was a necessity for me given my cooking needs. Overall, a great buy!

This under the cabinet range hood UC-PS38SS-30 is excellent unit. It works great. It is quiet also. And I definitely recommend Hauslane chef series Range Hood.

This hood range is very sleek looking and nicely complements my kitchen renovations. I purchased it because I was interested in the steam clean option. You can see the greasy water that it expels, which is great though I personally opt to do an overall deep clean every few weeks to limit the grease build up. The suction power seems sufficient. I would generally recommend this product.

Great DIY hood

This hood is a great addition to our home. The suction levels are awesome and eliminate smoke and food odors from spreading. The perimeter design works effectively with ranges that have large burners in the front. I have an LG range with a 22k BTU burner in the front, this model provides sufficient coverage for this burner as well.
I like the clean aesthetic and functionality.
I think the installation instructions could be better, it is very challenging to screw this to the cabinet (especially the back left screw near the wiring, this one is very close to the wire). I think having a nut and bolt design would be better.

Family no longer complain

The perimeter suction design with grease catching panel filter can really trap the high smoke and smell from my high heat stir fry. My family no longer complain the smoke and smell anymore. I really like the stream cleaning function, it only takes 3 minutes to finish the cleaning. This self cleaning can keep the range hood at the top performance. Watching the cleaning process and result has a soul smoothing effect on me.
