Excellent suction power!

We've had this stove exhaust fan for over two years, and grease does not collect on our cabinets since we've bought this. As an extra bonus,
when the fan is on high, it clears the pollutants in our house quickly, and our thermostat will show "clean" within 20 minutes.

This Hood is simply Stunning. It has an Italian Sleekness, a German durability and Japanese functionality yet it’s proudly made in USA.

I wanted to really use this for a few weeks and then try the steam cleaning tray before reviewing. [I do have a gripe about accessing the rear mounting screws during installation, but I worked that out.] As far as design and performance, it is as advertised. Just steam cleaned the motors and that is an awesome feature. Plenty of power and with 6 settings you can keep it low for a lot of basic cooking and it's pretty quiet. The way it draws around the upper plate works really well on front burners. Easy to take that plate off and clean, the magnets are brilliant. Lights are in front away from the heat. Great design and huge improvement over our last hood. Highly recommend it.

Room for Improvement

Very nice product with great looks and features. However , installation was a pain! Would've be easier if a template was included to help aligning and marking the screw holes. The 6" vent hole is too close to the wall making it hard to set the flex pipe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does a great job removing odors, oil and vapors

I have had this vent hood for over a year now and am very satisfied with the product. It does exactly what it it supposed to do, it powerfully sucks out all vapors, odors, and oil droplets, even with heavy cooking. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the controls are a little impractical (for example, you can't turn the fan off with one tap without also turning the light off, unless the fan is on the lowest setting) and that the self-cleaning feature is not effective.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does its job well, great suction

I have had this hood for about a year and have been very satisfied with its function. It has a powerful suction and keeps the cabinets, walls, and ceiling of the kitchen free from grease deposit even with heavy use of the stove. The self-cleaning feature is not very effective, so that we clean it manually, which is quite a job. Overall, I am very happy I bought this vent hood.
