Great Product

We've been using this range hood since our remodeling a few years ago and are very happy with it. It's slick design fits perfectly with our new kitchen. It has powerful suction and yet still reasonably quiet. It's easy to clean, an important feature for home range hoods! 👍😀 I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic product except for…

Bought this range hood 2.5 years ago and absolutely love love love this product. However that said, the plastic water tray for cleaning is junk. It has cracked so bad that it is unusable. Now this is kept in a cupboard with no ther products in its box. Just plain cheap plastic until you need to replace it, then it is silver lined. Beautiful range hood except for this one issue. Maybe use a higher grade of plastic or sheet metal? Would last forever then and I could upgrade to 5 stars!

Becarefull of a backsplash

The PS38 is a great range hood which has outstanding suction, however there is one problem when it comes to installation and having a backsplash. If you have 12" depth cabinets with no backsplash, then this perfect and you can use the water tray for self-cleaning. If you already have a backsplash tile or slab, (2cm or 2cm) that would be behind it, then the front mounts will be beyond the cabinet. If you decide to mount the hood range prior and then add a backsplash up to the bottom of the oil tray, then you will not be able to use the water tray for self-cleaning and the oil tray will be difficult to get out. For example, I install this unit prior to having a backsplash and I am a 3 cm Quartz slab installed as a backsplash. I can't take the unit down and install the quartz behind it because no mounting hole in the front. The only thing I can do is have the quarts installed just under the oil try, but I now can't use the water tray and the oil tray will be difficult to slide out. It would be great if Hauslane made some kind of adapter for least the water tray to be used up to a 3 cm backsplash. Other than that, awesome hood.

Great product, strong exhaust fan

I bought this under cabinet range hood to replace my 20 years old range hood. This product UC-PS38 definitely beat it. Exhaust fan is powerful and it has up to 6 level. Easy to clean and it has self-cleaning feature, which is a big plus! Will recommend this product.

Bought Hauslane Rangehood UC-PS38 for the holiday use and we are very happy with it. The instructions for installation and the video were very helpful and we were able to install it ourselves without too much difficulties. It is quite and powerful, very nice one for the price.

High filtration winner

We have had this Hauslane For one month so far. It works incredibly well compared to our prior stove hood. Two features I would like to highlight is the dimensions of the hood and how it covers the entire range and the filtration rate has which has cut down dramatically on kitchen fumes entering the kitchen.
I would make sure before you purchase and as you plan for installation Is that you make sure you know what kind of duct do you have and the kind of duct output from the model ,(circle only).
