Using 4" filters

Filtrete is a great brand and I like using 4" filters so I only have to change them out twice a year. The first time I changed them out, it was amazing how dirty they were - they really cleaned our air!

The Filtrete 1550 Allergy Reduction filter does a remarkable job
in filtering out the seasonal mountain allergens that blow into
our North Central TX home. We use fewer antihistamines since
we have installed the high efficiency filters. Thank you, 3M.

Excellent Filter

Used the Filtrete 2200 1" MPR filter until we had the furnace/air conditioner system replaced last year which has a 4" filter but the Filtrete 4" filter maximum filtration is a 1550 MPR...wish it came in the 2200 MPR.

Use these winter or year-round

I use these filters in the winter when the heater is running a lot but there are not really outdoor allergens getting in the house.
