Ok with the price

I bought this filter almost 2 weeks ago. I was not really impressed by it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

my wife has some allergies and changing this filter allergen defense 1000/1085 suit our home perfectly. changed monthly no more tears.

I've been using Filtrete filters for about 10 years (since our home was built). These filters do an excellent job of keeping nasty "particles" at bay!

I bought this product to cleanse my air from allergens like pet hair, dust, and other pollutants.This product has done a great job of cleansing my air, that I no longer suffer from bad allergies.

I live in hot and dry Texas so I buy the two pack and replace every 2 months as opposed to the recommended 3 months. The product works better than advertised. I recommend it to everyone I can.

I am always impressed at the difference between a new filter and a used filter. I know that I could go three months without changing them but since we have two cats, I change them every two months. They are well worth it.

We only have a heat pump in 2 lower floors of our split level 40 yr old home so don't have to change it as often --if I can see light through a used one I can continue to leave it in place for another month or so. I always buy them in multiple packs.
