Powerful and light

One of the best tools I own. I’m a farmer, I use my tools. Super powerful, does everything I have asked of it. Used it recently to take off 24mm tractor lug nuts. It laughed at them. I really haven’t needed it on setting 3, 2 can handle anything. I highly recommend this.

Not durable.

Ive had this for a little over two years and unfortunately found it isn’t durable. I overland, and the power to size ratio for this tool is super nice. Easy to keep in the truck. When it worked it wouldn’t even blink at tire changes. When I blew out a tire the other weekend I got it out and took a really long time to break my lug nuts free and the I noticed it sounds there is something ratcheting inside (maybe a sheared tooth). I finished the job with a tire tool. To be clear this thing has maybe done a total of 12 tire rotations and handful changes. Kind of a bummer. I’ve had impacts from other brands that were used much harder and lasted longer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got my mid range 1/2 impact and love it able to get into smaller places then the big one i have and has plenty of power to get the job done

Great power for the size and weight

Beast. Bought it because I got tired of using the DCF961 all day. With this as my primary impact, I only have to bring out the big gun a few times a week.

Dewalt Impact Wrench Performs Great

I bought this Dewalt impact wrench for my father for his birthday to replace his Makita tool due to the Makita did not performed well. My father is happier with the Dewalt impact wrench because it performs much better than Makita when using it at work. This impact wrench is light, easy to use with one hand, and the 3-speed options for tightening and loosening lug nuts is fantastic.

Amazing tool - missing one feature

Has been a great tool to our shop. Pretty compact and a lot of power behind it. I just wish that it could limit torque for reverse as it does forward. That's the only thing stopping it from being a 5 star tool.

Great in theory! Doesn't hold up

When this tool worked, it worked like a dream. Almost completely replaced my need for a high torque. After a few months of professional use in a shop, the product no long works. It has a terrible chattering/grinding noise now and it does not provide the same torque it used to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
