You always tell yourself you need more power until you get this beast in your hands. That's when you realize that this is more than you need. I haven't found a job that this drill can't handle. It just completes every job you throw at it without breaking a sweat.

Lots of Torque; Awesome LED Light

Really like this hammer drill especially with 8AH PowerPack Li battery. You know it puts out some serious torque when the handle extension is twice as long as it's predecessors! The rotation feature of the LED and the capability of it to be used for additional site lighting is great when you only have enough access to utilize either a flashlight or a drill but need both! I have been a Dewalt affecionado and user since the first 12 V cordless drill (which I still have). Would not trade my Dewalt collection for any other brand of power tool.

I build Decks and fences for a living. I bought this tool a little over a month ago to replace my old corded hammer drill and it has performed exceptionally well.

Just go my new DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill model # DCD1007B. What a heavy duty beast. Top of the line and a great addition to my Dewalt collection.

Love this drill I won’t it on a give away so I have 3 different hammer drills but the compactness of this one is my favorite. It has the power I need with the size I prefer
