Works great, till it gets warm.

The light is great for small areas, under the hood, etc. The light is bright enough for the job you are doing. However.... There is 1 major flaw. If the light is on continuous for moderate-long period of time (I'd say 40 minutes +) then the light will start to blink.... and continue to blink non stop till it cools down. At first you think the battery is low... but this is not the case. Batteries still fully charged. I own many DeWalt tools.... this is the first one to let me down.

Bright, but now blinks after it heats up

I loved this product, but found after it's on for just a few minutes, the device will blink off for a second, then turn on for about 10 seconds and continue to repeat. I think the light is getting too hot. If I turn off to let it cool down a few minutes, it will stay on solid until it heats up again. Not useful for a dark space when this continue to happen! And YES, the battery is charged!

Amazing brightness in the night or day.

This single LED light has an amazing amount of light for just one LED. Most lights won't penetrate the darkness of night but this will. I was apprehensive about the lumen rating when I bought it but if you want a light that definitely will light up the night then get this light! A really great light. I definitely recommend this product.

Great Multi-Purpose Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just wanted a nice heavy duty flash light option and this one filled that need. It’s durable and heavy enough to stand up on its own for hands free use. Great product!

Not Long Life

I bought the three tool set back in November 2015. The LED worklight sat in case for three years as I had other more powerful work lights. I used the unit twice and the bulbs started to flicker on then unit went dark. Unit was in a hard cover case for three years and did not last more than a few hours of use. I am a homeowner who use of all three tools are minimal, but this one was close to DOA. I would not recommend, plus lumens was poor during use.

Stopped working after only a couple months of use.

I purchased this work light along with a collection of DeWalt tools to work on a project far off the beaten path on an island in the Philippines. With very light use, without dropping hitting or any sudden impact to the light, it just suddenly stopped working. Now 7500 miles away, I’m left with a piece of junk in an area where I am dependent on my tools off grid. Very disappointed.

Unexpected winner

This came with a kit I bought and I really never thought I'd use it, as it turns out I use it 3 or 4 times a week. It also uses very little power, I had it on for several hours and used less than one bar on my 5ah battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!
