Excellent sander

I just got this new for home projects and love it. It is very quiet and comfortable to use. The vacuum option works well, the unit feels sturdy and well built. I love the power cord feels like you can pull a car with it. I used in different speeds and love that option if you can get this one instead of the single speed spend the money. I own many dewalt tools and like this one I am glad I purchased and is now part of the family.

Good for the price

Overall this is a nice sander that provides excellent dust collection with an easy and durable bag that is a snap to empty. A minor but annoying shortcoming is a power cord that tends to be stiff.

Great sander!

Does a better job than a certain competitors brand, with less vibration than the competitors sander. That said, I think the vibration problem could still be reduced even more. I have owned this for about 2 wks. now and I find the dust bag already has a hole/worn spot right up next to the knurled plastic that attaches to the sander. I can't imagine why a hole would be there unless its due to the spring in the dust bag wearing a hole thru due to vibration.

I found this sander to be affordable, have plenty of power, leave no markings, and have pretty descent dust collection. This checked off all the boxes i was looking for in a sander. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent palm sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this sander to remove the top layer of old stain on my 16X18 deck. Took me most of a Saturday. The sander worked great, left a nice smooth surface for the new stain.
