Tons of power, low vibration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best palm sander I’ve used for the price. Lots of power, similar to Festool models, but with very low vibration which makes it comfortable to use and control.

One sander for it all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sander last year as a gift. It’s the only sander I have needed. I’ve refinished multiple prices of furniture and it has done a fantastic job. The variable speeds have come in handy when trying to remove old finishes. I’ve even lent this to my mother-in-law and she had no problem operating it. The only thing I wish was that the adapter to a standard shop vacuum was only one piece not 2. All in all it’s a great sander and I don’t know what more I could ask.

Great Sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just recently purchased this after my 10 year old porter cable variable ROS came up missing. This one is much easier on the hand and the dust bag is much nicer with the DeWalt. Looking forward to the next 10 years with this one.

Great little sander!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this sander for over a year now and it has served me well! It is powerful and the adjustable speed is a nice feature for more delicate projects. The dust collection is pretty standard. I wish it came with an adapter that fit standard size shop vac hoses. Overall awesome little product!

Awesome palm sander for a sensible price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this little guy in the spring when my Milwaukee failed me. Paired with Diablo sandnets this thing runs flawlessly. Smooth operation and comfortable to work with for extended periods of time. One of the many reasons that the majority of my tools are Dewalt.

Noisy Bearing?

The first time I turned it on it sounds like a noisy bearing, unless that's normal for this orbital sander. I've always had good luck with other Dewalt products in the past so I gave it a few stars for that. And it does do it's job as it should. Just leary about the whining bearing, especially when you put slight pressure on the forward edge of the pad. It would be 5-stars if I had the peace of mind of knowing it's ok.

Excellent sander

I just got this new for home projects and love it. It is very quiet and comfortable to use. The vacuum option works well, the unit feels sturdy and well built. I love the power cord feels like you can pull a car with it. I used in different speeds and love that option if you can get this one instead of the single speed spend the money. I own many dewalt tools and like this one I am glad I purchased and is now part of the family.
