[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been doing my projects oldschool (by hand) but I'm getting too old for that. My wife and kids decided to get me this DWE6423 Orbit Sander to make my life easier. I'm a disabled vet so I do take my time doing projects. I started using this tool and boy, it was awesome. I completed all the sanding work for the dining table I did in 4 hours(took breaks when needed). I know a lot of people can do it faster but for me, that was a record. I love my dewalt sander. I'll be buying more tools soon. I'm looking into the cordless tools now. I wish I took pictures but maybe next time.

Work horse Sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this sander to re sand and paint all my kitchen cabinet after my Bosch broke. Let me tell you, I have been messing up not owning this sander sooner. Multiple speeds, easy to change sanding pads, and it collects so much of the sanding dust. It is a must have in your tool collection.

I purchased this to finish strip the finish off a table, worked great. My wife is not accustomed to power tools, she used it more than I did, she loved it.

Great product; quality sanding

I bought this about a month ago because it was variable speed and needed so more delicate sanding for a piece of furniture I was making and... its amazing! the dust bag actually lock onto the sander and the sander works like a charm!

Tough, efficient, versatile!

I have spent days hand sanding a large home project and purchased this for efficiency and based on other reviews. It has been absolutely amazing so far. The variable speed aspect is perfect for the fine detail work I require and the easy take on take off hook and loop systems works perfectly. The dust pickup works well and I look forward to years of usage.

Excellent Sander!

With long term house remodeling plans, I quickly realized the need for a random orbital sander. I purchased the DeWalt DWE6423 kit on sale at my local Home Depot. Since that time I have regularly used the sander and found it to be very dependable. The speed control dial makes it easy to adjust the RPM of the sander depending on the material being sanded and the 5" hook and loop pad makes it simple to quickly change the sanding discs. The sander is lightweight, and the shape of the top along with the rubber covering, make it comfortable for your hand when sanding for long periods. Although I was skeptical at first of the attached dust collection bag, it does work surprisingly well. This sander is a great value and I definitely recommend it.
