Great Sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just recently purchased this after my 10 year old porter cable variable ROS came up missing. This one is much easier on the hand and the dust bag is much nicer with the DeWalt. Looking forward to the next 10 years with this one.

One sander for it all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sander last year as a gift. It’s the only sander I have needed. I’ve refinished multiple prices of furniture and it has done a fantastic job. The variable speeds have come in handy when trying to remove old finishes. I’ve even lent this to my mother-in-law and she had no problem operating it. The only thing I wish was that the adapter to a standard shop vacuum was only one piece not 2. All in all it’s a great sander and I don’t know what more I could ask.

Tons of power, low vibration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best palm sander I’ve used for the price. Lots of power, similar to Festool models, but with very low vibration which makes it comfortable to use and control.

There's a lot to love about this sander. The power to weight ratio for this tool is excellent. The ability to switch sanding pads is efficient and well thought out. I use this tool for many different tasks and it has come through every time! Good job Dewalt!

As a DIY woodworker I have been through many different brands of random orbital sander's. Most vibrate your hand so bad you have to stop in the middle of sanding or they simply don't last. This sander is by far the best overall sander for both comfort and quality. Highly recommend!!!!

I am a little disappointed as I did not know this unit needed a belt and that the belt would need to be replaced from time to time. and also to hook up to a vac you need an adapter if I knew I needed adapter to hook up to a vac I would have bought one when I got the unit but now I will have to go to the store again and see if it is available if not I will have to order it.I have other dewalt products and have had no problem with them..So hopefully this will do as well

Comfortable to Use

Recently purchased. Used on weathered cedar fence with 60 Grit sandpaper. The sander performed well and was a good weight to handle. I can't speak to the durability at this stage.

Amazing sander

I have been using my boss's dewalt variable speed orbital sander for awhile on various projects and jobs and I loved it so much I had to go buy my own. I am definitely happy with this tool.
