Portable and powerful biscuit joiner.

And this works perfect for that purpose. Portability is a must for me. And this joiner fits the bill.
My first use for building shelving units in a pantry. Deepth adjustment was easy.
Had no problem with power. I was using a 5ah battery and it had plenty of battery and power to finish the job.
I will say if you are a dedicated woodworker you may still want to stick with a corded joiner.
Ergonomically it felt great the rubber grips made it easy to hold onto and work great to stop you from damaging your project.
I only used the 5ah battery but I could see it getting cumbersome if you step it up to a larger battery.
Overall I would say this biscuit joiner is going to make a great addition to my work truck arsenal. And is a welcome addition to the DeWalt lineup.

Brushless biscuit joiner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to to join some 1" cedar boards and it was very easy to use and cut very well. The ability to not need to plug in is also very nice. I ran this tool with a 6ah flexvolt battery and didn't notice any change in performance over approximately 50 cuts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Portable with almost no clean up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a necessity for furniture, to correctly aligned boards, this is the tool that is needed. This biscuit joiner will save you a tremendous amount of time with less plaining and sanding by keeping boards aligned in the glue-up stage. The portability is a huge bonus to not have to worry about running extension cords. The bag catches most of the saw dust, so not much clean up is needed after use.
