Works for type 4 hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very coily to kinky Type 4 hair, and this iron straightened my hair in one pass at 375 with no random hot spots. I used the ion setting on my hair. I also did not have heat damage at the next wash. I love the rotating cord and the locking mechanism for the plates. My only qualm with this iron is the temperature dial. I love the digital read, but I wish there were more than 5 settings. I really need the temperatures in between what is available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t think I could love a flat iron more than my foxybae one. But it’s been done. Granted my foxybae wasn’t nearly as expensive as this one. I do wish the plates were a little bit wider but other than that. I have no complaints with this guy!

Amazing flat iron!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love with this flat iron! I have thick, coarse, wavy/curly hair (see before picture) and straightening my hair can be a difficult task. However I had really great results with this product. I had multiple coworkers comment on how great my hair looked. My hair stayed straight throughout the day too. I didn’t have to put the straightener on the highest setting which is nice. The flat iron has a nice weight to it that makes it feel like a good quality. I would definitely recommend this flat iron! I love it!

I was so excited to get this vox box because I have heard people say so many positive things about this brand! The Ionic technology not only made my hair so smooth and less frizzy, but it took HALF the time to straighten my hair as my previous iron (yes, I timed it). Overall, I would absolutely recommend this product and I look forward to using it even more!

Good for sleek, straight hair styles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4.5/5 - already was a fan of babyliss flat irons, so when I saw this box I pretty much screamed out loud from excitement! I have never tried an ionic flat iron before and I think that it has a learning curve I wasn’t used to. It straightened my hair perfectly, super sleek with very little breakage! However, when I went to add in a light curl into my hair (like I usually do) it didn’t work as well as some other flat irons I have used. I think with practice this could work for that too, but it definitely shines more for straight and sleek hair styles! It will leave hair shimmy and smooth with no frizz.
