Great espresso machine

This is a very simple semi automatic espresso machine with an automatic milk frother. The milk frother took me a few tries to figure out but once I got it, I am now sold for life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent and easy to use Espresso machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love treating myself to an Espresso whenever I can, especially now that, due to the pandemic, I work 100% virtually so it is not as common unless I have a reason to leave the house. So when I had the chance to tryout the KitchenAid® Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine and Automatic Milk Frother Attachment Bundle I went for it and have not been disappointed.
Packaging/In the Box – The Espresso machine was well protected and pack with ease of unpacking kept in mind as this was really easy to unpack for setup. The machine comes with four baskets consisting of two single wall and two double wall sets of single and double shot baskets. One tamper, a coffee scoop, a milk pitcher, a steam wand, a milk spout, the machine itself and finally the milk frother attachment.
Setup – The KitchenAid Espresso machine was super easy to setup after an initial washing of the parts as the instructions were clear, concise and intuitive. There is a short rinse cycle to preform and then you are off and brewing Espresso.
Use and cleanup – Using the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso machine was super easy using the included “Get Started” quick guides. Note that the guides direct you to the website kitchenaid.com/quickstart for more recipes and videos however my Espresso machine was not listed which was disappointing. Cleanup was relatively easy and straightforward and of course took a bit longer than a normal coffee machine but all in all wasn't bad.
Final thoughts are that this is a quality and well built Espresso machine. I have used it both as standalone and with the milk frother and have been extremely happy with the quality of the Espressos I have made. All in all this an awesome Espresso machine and I am thrilled to be able to make them in my own home, way to go KitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned a few coffee makers and two espresso makers and this Kitchen Aid is by far my favorite.
The machine itself is a great size. Similar models from different brands see to be larger and take up more counter space. This Kitchen Aid is smartly designed to keep everything streamlined and easy to store/sit on your counter.
The instructions were very easy to follow and I highly suggest you read them just to make your set up/learning quicker. The quality of the machine itself is sturdy and well made.
The most important thing to me is the taste of the coffee and crema. I grind my own beans and I think that makes a huge difference for coffee snobs. This machine has different filter baskets for which style of grounds you prefer. The machine heats up in 45 seconds and I was amazed at the crema it made. The coffee is strong and is as good as any coffee shop or better. Make sure you tamp your grounds very tight.
The frother is a great addition as my wife likes lattes and cappuccinos. My kids also use that feature for hot chocolate!
Overall this machine is well built, very easy to use and makes excellent coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso machine is easy to use for an espresso novice like me. After reading the instructions the most important part is making sure that the coffee grind is the correct size. Before pulling a shot I make sure to use the correct clean portafilter pieces depending if I'm pulling one or two shots. I always use fresh filtered water, steamed milk, and grind my own beans at home.After I'm done pulling the espresso, I rinse all of the pieces including the steam wand and make sure to wipe off any excess coffee grounds on the machine.
The milk frother is simple to use but isn't as fun to clean if it's only needed for one espresso shot. When I'm having guests over this is perfect for multiple shots. For now I usually just use the steamer wand which works really well and is simple to clean. I'm so excited to be able to make own tasty espresso at home whenever I want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second espresso maker that I've owned, and it is by far the best! The Kitchen Aid espresso machine feels like a pro-grade espresso machine -- like something you'd find in a real coffee shop. From the tamper and portafilter to the filters and stainless steel cup, it's all very well made and designed. I LOVE that the espresso shot settings (1 or 2) are pre-measured. It takes the guesswork out of the process.
The milk frother worked perfectly the first time we used it. Of course, you can use the steaming wand to froth your own milk, but using this frother attachment takes the guess work out of the process. The only downside is that you are supposed to clean the milk frother after each use. There are a LOT of parts. It's not difficult to take apart. It comes apart easily, but it is a bit of a tedious process -- especially if you just want to use it for one cup of espresso.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this espresso maker and look forward to using it for many years to come!

Using the milk the steam feature was the best, adding it made a good cup of espresso. The the automatic milk frother attaches easily and works well. The machine is small enough to be left on the kitchen counter. I definitely recommend this product.
