Fantastic Expresso Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this KitchenAid expresso machine a few weeks ago and was a bit daunted when I opened the box and saw all the pieces. But once I took everything out and read and followed the instructions it went very smoothly! I decided not to attach the milk reservoir as I am a family of two and it would not be necessary! I then went about attaching the water reservoir and the steam wand. I looked over the various coffee attachments and decided on the single serve one. Setup literally took me less than 10 minutes. I then brewed and steamed my milk for my first cappuccino! My first cappuccino turned out perfectly and tasted delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have made many cups of espresso drinks since getting this sturdy KitchenAid Espresso machine. There was not much of a learning curve before I was brewing the perfect coffee shop beverage in my own kitchen—thanks to the Get Started Quick Start Guide. I was then on my way to brew not only plain shots of expresso, but cappuccino, latte and americano—every bit as tasty as an expensive drink in a café. The machine is right-sized to be a perfect fit for sliding under the cabinet on our granite countertop. The control panel is well-designed and easy to understand. I like the flexibility to make one or two shot drinks, and to choose the steam option, which is powerful and fast, producing hot or frothed milk with all the same sounds you hear in coffee shops. The hot water option shoots the perfect temp water from the steam wand for Americano’s or a soothing cup of tea. There’s a frothing attachment bundle included, which is great for making multiple drinks when we have guests. I am very impressed with this machine, and rate it with 5 stars for the powerful pump and its stellar performance producing beverages with a rich, thick, aromatic crema. I felt well-equipped because the setup also includes 4 filter baskets for 1-2 cups, and coarse or fine-ground coffee beans, a classy stainless milk pitcher and heavy tamper. Kudos to KitchenAid...again!

This machine, like all other kitchen aide machines is amazing. Very well built with heavy duty attachments as well as a solid milk frother. Very easy to use and makes fantastic coffee!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I love using this machine, she was very excited to learn how to use it and then be able to use it on her own. The machine works very well and is easy to use. The quick start instructions that were included were great. The machine has a small footprint and fits well in my kitchen. The auto milk brother worked well, but I preferred using the steam wand and the small milk pitcher. I felt that this option provided a better foam with the milk. Another quality product from KitchenAid, I highly recommend it.

An essential part of our coffee bar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are fussy about coffee. We had a combo espresso/coffee maker and found that it was "okay" at both but great at neither. So we got two separate machines and our world is back on its axis. This unit is compact and unobtrusive; it doesn't take up much space and looks great.
The unit makes excellent espresso. We use high-quality beans and the unit delivers great tasting product and a nice crema. The milk frother is substantial and makes foam in no time.
Cleanup is easy. It doesn't take long to get the hang of operations and we find ourselves using this much more regularly than we did with our combo unit. A good value and a great product!

After seeing it up and getting over being nervous to use it, I love it. This machine is so easy to use and wow does it taste great. If you're looking to purchase an Espresso Machine then don't pass this one up. You too will love it along with the money you save from making your own.

A Taste of Europe in My Own Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After traveling through Europe just prior to the pandemic, in particular Vienna, Austria where espresso and a latte and cake are an everyday afternoon delight in an open air café, we wanted to duplicate that experience since we were marooned at home. As always, KitchenAid delivered! After unpacking the product, we watched a demonstration provided through a link in the instructions for fast set-up. That was a big help! Next, my husband, the coffee connoissier, ground the beans to the perfect blend, and made the best cappuccino we have had since Austria! It doesn’t stop at cappuccino or expresso, you can choose hot water for making the grandkids hot cocoa and they feel special too. You get two single wall filter baskets so you can use freshly ground coffee for either a single or double shot cup. Also, two double wall filter baskets are in the box so you can use regular ground coffee. The drip tray is removable for easy cleanup and so is the steam wand. This machine has a cleaning cycle I can run so I don’t need to worry that mold or lime will build inside. It’s important to not use distilled or spring water, per instructions. Instructions say you can adjust the water temperature higher but I didn’t feel a need to try, it sounded too complicated and I thought it was already perfect. KitchenAid has really made expresso making something even I can master all the while staying at home and safe!
