We’re glad to hear the oven’s overall functionality has been good, but we’re very sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve experienced with the touch controls, especially when steam from the vent makes the panel unresponsive.

We understand how concerning it can be when the controls stop responding while the oven is operating. For your safety, if the controls become unresponsive and you’re unable to turn the oven off normally, please switch off the oven’s circuit breaker and allow the unit to cool completely before attempting to use it again.

As a troubleshooting step, once the range has completely cooled, you can turn the circuit breaker off for approximately 5 minutes and then restore power. This may reset the electronic controls. Please also keep the control panel clean and dry, and avoid allowing moisture or cleaning solution to collect around the controls. If the issue continues, we recommend discontinuing use of the oven until it can be properly inspected by a qualified service technician, particularly since the controls may become unresponsive during operation.
