This is the second Asus router I purchased. My bought the router from their website which was easy and shipping was free. The router arrived in a timely fashion and was very easy to install and setup.

Was disappointed that the router does not have a USB port for connecting an external storage device. This was not clear when it was ordered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good router lots of features and functions. The only issue is barely 8 months and three of the ports on the back dont work anymore. I have a switch located next it all my devices are connected to the switch and from there to the single working port on the back. I have lots of ASUS items and they have never failed me this is a first and I will be sending it in as It has two year warranty.

RT-AX55 is a quality product, I am using it as an extender for my home network using AiMesh and the signal seems to be strong. It was a very easy setup and configure to my Asus - AC3100 dual Band Wifi router.

Very easy set up using the ASUS router app and made my connection much faster. So far so good, only had it for a few days, but very pleased with the performance. This one replaced my other ASUS router that is 10 years old and is still operational. Hoping this one can last as long too!
