If you want the best when it comes to surge protectors, make sure it's a TrippLite, I would never even consider any other brand. The 3 outlet is perfect for plugging in small appliances or cell phone chargers for that additional protection and peace of mind. 5 Stars +++++

I started with one of these for my main television. Ended up buying additional units for every television in the house as well as the washing machine and two refrigerators. Their compact size and easy to read display are great for hard to reach places. The protection that is needed with power surges and lightening strikes. These are great 3 outlet surge protectors. I use them for everything in my house that requires more than the single outlet surge protectors. Better clamping voltage than others out there at 400v. Only con i see is if using large transformer plugs with this you will only be able to use the 2 side outlets.
