This waffle maker is no-nonsense and just gets the job done. Got it as a wedding gift off of our registry. Just used it for the first time for my husband's birthday breakfast. It was so easy to use, made waffles super quick, and they came out the perfect size and thickness. I love it!

Vivicreate MB-P13 panini press has badly cast plastic. Actual quality control or conscientious assemblers should have caught this. From the design perspective, the wirebound cable connecting the upper & lower plates has inadequate slack. The upper plate cannot float properly because of the tension so sandwiches come out sloped, not flat. The thick side of the sandwich near the handle gets cooked less than the squashed side near the hinge. I specifically shopped for the floating lid feature so I'm very disappointed by the lopsided sandwiches I got from this press.
