Fragile bag with plastic handles that break off

Be careful with this luggage because the handle on the bottom of the bag that stabilizes the bag in standing position is made of plastic and breaks off with very little pressure. I have a bag and it broke off almost immediately, so the luggage no longer stands upright on it's own. And, there is no handle on that side when picking it up. I am surprised Thule built luggage with plastic handles and it appears the screws are plastic as well. Poor construction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an exceptionally well-made and sturdy bag. It readily accommodates a backpack, related equipment and food needed for a week in the backcountry. Even fully loaded it rolls with ease.
