Almost Perfect; Needs A Few Tweaks In Round 2

Some things I would like to see in the next update…
1. Load lifter straps above each shoulder strap to redistribute the weight closer to the body.
2. Side compression straps to compress the pack when not fully loaded, and to reduce the outer dimensions when you’re trying to fit the bag in an overhead compartment or other tight space. When this thing is fully loaded, it has a tendency to look like a turtle shell on your back; compression straps would help with this.
3. Slightly more interior volume. 42-45L would be perfect for one-bag travel
4. Include the hip belt pack instead of forcing people to purchase it separately. It’s an ingenious idea, but it should already be included. A travel pack this size NEEDS a hip belt in order to redistribute weight off the back and shoulders and on to the hips.

I purchased this bag since I travel by plane once a month for a small amount of time and I wanted a nice carry on. This is such an amazing travel backpack. It has compartments for everything. I like how it’s versatile, I can wear it as a duffel bag, or backpack! It’s the perfect bag for a small weekend trip, or for a weekend plane trip! I love it.

I use this backpack every day.

But when I travel for 2 nights and 3 days in winter, the capacity is not enough.

Great pack except for a couple of design issues…

This could be the perfect carry on back pack to fit all your electronics, medium trip clothing and accessories and then some. But I found at least two design issues that inhibits it’s full potential. I have used this as a carry on all g with a roll aboard carry on for a 8 day trip in the UK/Scotland. First, When the internal tie downs in the main compartment are cinched fully the zipper for the electronics compartment does not close smoothly. Second, when you stow the pack on your roll aboard handle you have to flip the pack on its side. Which means you can’t keep your water bottle in its pocket when carrying it this way as the bottle slot is on the side. Defeats the purpose!! Thule design team - maybe you will address in the next iteration. Happy to give additional feedback.

A little too heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this travel backpack a month ago. When I first got it and opened it, I was a little surprised at how heavy it was. It is very well made. The compartments are great for organizing. There is a ton of space! Once I used it a few times, it didn't seem as heavy. I really like it!

I love that this Backpack can fit my laptop while still having so much space for my other items. Each compartment helps me to store my necessities neatly. This backpack is also made from recycled materials. I am so happy I can easily use one bag for any of my day or weekend trips.

Fantastic Travel Backpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really fantastic backpack for traveling. I got this with the intention of using it for air travel, and this definitely fit the bill. It is so comfortable to wear while walking around, and is so much more convenient that using a rolling suitcase or a bag with a shoulder strap. It fits easily in an overhead bin, even while packed full. It has many compartments, including one for a laptop or other screen electronics. It also has a plastic waterproof compartment that I use for liquid items. It has enough room to carry a change of clothing along with many additional items, and could easily function as a weekend bag, or for someone who may not wish to check a bag at the airport. It is a well made and very sturdy backpack that I would recommend to anyone who needs a bag with lots of storage and organization for traveling.

Nifty travel pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a travel bag this accomplish a good amount and I'm fairly happy with it. It is able to fit up to 40L - whatever that means. for me it means 1 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of joggers, 2 shorts, 3 shirts, 4 pairs of socks, and 4 pairs of boxers. It doesn't feel overly stuffed. It has nice retention clips as a water tightish bag that can put wet items into for storage. I have the thule covert bag and the zipper pulls are nicer. These are just a rubber seal around the rope tie. The covert has a very textured plastic tie that should be on all their bags.
Overall pretty happy with it as a weekender bag. Works for my usage and happy to recommend it.
