Absolutely Amazing Camera

I found using rechargables around the home proved to have short life in the camera, using the recommended type or lithium ensured long life and otherwise have no complaints. Amazing video quality, awesome pictures, and i love the 12x zoom. i dont need an SLR and this is the closest to best i think i can get while staying small. LOVE the popup flash, i can keep it down if i want or up.
Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife and I recently purchased to Canon PowerShot SX130 IS camera to take with us on our 40th anniversary vacation to Cancun. Not being the best with technology, we were somewhat concerned. Much to our surprise this is the best and easiest camera to use that we have ever owned. I would highly recommend the camera to anyone needing an easy to use, yet professional quality camera. Let me assure you that if we ever need another, we won't hesitate to check out Canon products.
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, good battery life with rechargeable batteries
Cons: Short battery life

Very good compact. Full of easy to use features. I use this for quick reference photos. My wife uses for the pets and kids. She has no problems with it. I mainly use my Canon F-1n film SLR cameras. I have been using Canon products since the 1970's. Great products and a good price.
Pros: Nice features/settings, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: Very good qualitypictures, easy and simple to learn to use, durable (have dropped in a few times!) great zoom feature, easy to make movies with
Cons: Not a fast camera i.e: blurry pictures with movement, shutter speed very slow so action photos are delayed, carry extra batteries
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great camera for the beginning photographer

I love how this small, handheld camera carries a 12x optical zoom! The different settings, such as landscape, portrait, and kids&pets worked well for their purpose. It became confusing when I experimented with the manual mode. When I switched from that to AV or TV, I lost control of my aperture and ISO, meaning I feel they didn't switch back to automatic. However that was my only problem. For just an everyday, point and shoot camera, this is perfect, especially for the price.
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance, Short battery life, hard to navigate menu
I would recommend this to a friend!
