Easy-to-use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset is so comfortable. I enjoy gaming, but I'm not a fan of having to spend a lot of time adjusting my headset/mic volume. I love that this headset has a removable mic, and easy to access volume dial and mute button.

Audio good mic sucks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The audio was OK. It was easy to set up. It looks great. They only downer for me was the boom mic. The mic only has the option to be on the left side and I prefer it on the right. I also had trouble getting anyone to hear me clearly.

Incredibly comfortable deep bass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Skullcandy is an audio brand I havent used in a long time. I used to frequently buy their $10 earbuds when I was much younger, so I was surprised when I got chosen to test the Slyr headset.
The msrp of this headset is very affordable and you can tell where they cut corners. The box is made of thin paper that tears easily if you look at it wrong. Inside, you get the headset nestled in some thin molded plastic. You get two different wires, and the removable mic as well.
The headset it self is light weight with a build quality that is solid. It doesn't creak or bend weird when you put it on your head. I would put it on par with headsets the cost twice as much in terms of how well it is put together. The ear cups are made out of memory foam and best of all they can be replaced. I didnt feel sweaty with these on, even though people kept calling me that in game.
The included cables are nice, especially since the splitter for PC gives it some extra length. Only real downside is the regular yellow cable seems to attract my cats like a magnet. They want to try and chew on it if they get a chance, so I have to hide the headset any time I head out or else it will be on the floor in a different room when I get back.
The sound quality can be incredible if tuned correctly. I had a flat EQ curve and these made me sad, but giving it a bass boost really brings them to life. They respond very well to the low end boost without distorting or producing muddy bass which really surprised me. The sound stage for a closed headset without any software is equally as amazing. Sometimes while I was watching a movie or playing a game the sounds would feel like they weren't coming out of the headset speakers. Instead it was as if the sound was playing elsewhere inside the room. A truly sureal experience when it happens.
Overall, this headset is an incredible value. Money was put into the places that mater most like the build and sound quality and not on a useless fancy box. I just hope replacement cables and earpads are available to buy because that is what I usually go through and I hope to enjoy this headset for the many games to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As well as being very comfortable, they are also very easy to set up. However, these headphones do not feature noise cancellation. The headphones can be programmed to scroll through different modes; For example, RPG, FPS, or music.
