Unless you designed this keypad case for a **different** iPad Pro 11" M4, someone needs to learn how to use a ruler. Or maybe not put the case through a hot wash before packaging it.
I bought the Pro Keys 2 for my wife's new iPad Pro 11" M4 because I've owned at least two Zagg cases for my own iPads over the years, including the Pro Keys I currently use on my own iPad Pro 11 (12.9 inch, 6th Generation). I love the Pro Keys on mine so much that I went straight to the Pro Keys 2 for her new (and smaller) iPad.
Big mistake; these two cases are so different that they shouldn't bear the same name. Try as we did, repeatedly, we could not squeeze my wife's iPad into the Pro Keys 2. It was a case of the two-inch peg in the two-inch hole. We gave up trying for fear of damaging the iPad, the case, or both, and we've shipped it back for a refund.
We looked for all the directions we could find, between the enclosed product literature and your website, but nothing helped. If a step is missing, that's on you, not on us. We're both college grads, experienced with technology, and (in short) didn't just fall off a turnip truck. To say we're disappointed is an understatement.
I find it hard to go back and forth between typing with the keypad and reading propped up. Hard to maneuver the keypad when trying to prop up. I know this sounds minor, but I found my old Zagg keyboard much easier to prop up and read. Now I need to separate the keyboard from the iPad and case more often as I am doing today at airports and in airplanes. The typing is easy, though the curvature of the keys make them seem smaller and take some time getting used to. The functionality of the keyboard is very good with everything I’ve needed so far. I enjoy the backlighting on the keyboard. I do not use an Apple Pencil , but think it might separate if the pencil gets snagged while being moved around in a backpack or bag. I am keeping this case with keyboard, but is not my dream set up.
The first thing I thought while it was still in the box is, WOW, this is heavy. It is much heavier than I had expected. Of course, it is heavy. It has a battery under the keyboard. With Ipad Pro installed, it weight 3 lbs 3 oz and is just under 1 inch thick. I have only been using it for about 1 day and I like it. It seems like a small laptop and I think that I will get used to it. 4.5 stars would be a better initial evaluation but of course that isn't available
I really liked my 1st Zagg Pro Keys typing case. It was slim, light, easy to use and carry around. The Pro Keys 2 case functions great, but is very heavy and thick. I might as well be carrying a laptop around. As someone who carries an Ipad Pro around for good portion of day, it's not that portable and not working for me
The case was so heavy and bulky that it took away the benefits of the thinness and lightness of the iPad. I gave it a chance and tried it out to see if I could adjust to it but it just couldn’t. I returned the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your feedback, as we are always trying to improve our products. We hope you'll give us another try!
Unfortunately I returned the product. It was just too heavy. The product worked with my IPad- just too heavy. Once the whole product was attached to my iPad it was same weight as my laptop
