DOES NOT WORK WITH MY EXPLORE AIR 2

WHEN PLACING IN THE HOLDER, PUSHING IT TILL ARROW IS INSERTED, ONLY PUSHES IT DOWN ON THE MAT, THE MAT CANT GO THROUGH THE MACHINE WITH THIS STYLUS, TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED.

I got the scoring pen when I bought my Cricut and love it! I have used it on multiple projects with no issues. The pen scores it enough to fold without cutting the cardstock. I am using an Explore Air 2 machine with no issues at all. Definitely worth the price to save on time!!

Awful scoring stylus! Came with my Explore and have used it maybe 5 times over the last 5 years and every time I have to rescore with my MS scoreboard. It basically leaves a super light drag line on my cardstock but no impression so it is really hard to see where it should be scored when I rescore. You (cricut) really need to come up with a better option for those of us who are not planning on buying a maker and its fancy scoring wheel that I hear works great.

Missing parts for the stylus

I am not sure how the stylus works. To be fair, we just bought the explore one. Bought a scoring stylus. Went to use the stylus and realized we needed some kind of adapter or collar type of device. The machine did not come with the adapter nor did the adapter come with the stylus. Why does the stylus not come with the adapter. We were going to by pens for the machine, but good thing we did not. Apparently the cricut marketing skills need to be tuned up.

Bought this last weekend to use with my maker 3. Tried using to score little houses for Christmas decoration but machine says to insert scoring wheel. Guess I need to go get a scoring wheel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello! We apologize for the confusion on this tool. You can use the stylus in clamp B. To choose the right tool, after you get through the "Prepare" screen, underneath the Material selections you should see Step 2. There should be an option to "Edit Tools" and you can choose the stylus there. Scores well but packaging is deceptive.

Needed a tool to score Christmas cards we are printing. For scoring, it does the job. However, the package indicated "score and cut without changing tools". Assumed the scoring tip could be changed out with a blade. Not so much. To score and cut requires an entire set of tools purchased separately that you might use the stylus in conjunction with.
I would recommend this to a friend!
