Enhances card making in so many ways! Not only will it score the center fold, it will score flower petals and leaves, pop-up elements, envelope folds, gift box folds, bows and tags... The uses go as far as your imagination! It also saves a good deal of time and management with my Maker 3 because I don't have to swap out my cutting blade for a scoring blade, I can just put this stylus into the second clamp from the beginning. One of the smartest purchases I've made!
Needed a tool to score Christmas cards we are printing. For scoring, it does the job. However, the package indicated "score and cut without changing tools". Assumed the scoring tip could be changed out with a blade. Not so much. To score and cut requires an entire set of tools purchased separately that you might use the stylus in conjunction with.
Rushed out and bought this for my Expore 3 so that I can use it when making cards. It does not work, doesnt even touch the cardstock! So frustrated and reading the reviews it is a common issue with the stylus! Come on Cricut, sort it out

We are sorry to hear the Cricut Scoring Stylus is not working as expected. Please make sure the Cricut Scoring Stylus clicks when loading it to the accessory clamp. The grey arrow on the side of the stylus should not be visible when it is loaded properly into the accessory adapter. If you are still having trouble don't hesitate to get in touch with us at https://cricut.com/contact for further support.
Bought this last weekend to use with my maker 3. Tried using to score little houses for Christmas decoration but machine says to insert scoring wheel. Guess I need to go get a scoring wheel.

Hello! We apologize for the confusion on this tool. You can use the stylus in clamp B. To choose the right tool, after you get through the "Prepare" screen, underneath the Material selections you should see Step 2. There should be an option to "Edit Tools" and you can choose the stylus there. Should you need further assistance, please reach out to us at https://cricut.com/contact and our team will be happy to walk you through these steps.
