Great ideas don’t always work.

Purchased December 24th. After swapping scoring and cutting tools for Christmas projects, cards, etc. I saw where I could have used a stylus and saved a lot of time. It did not work, didn’t even leave the slightest mark on the cardstock. Had to hand score.

Makes good folds

I have used it on card stock up to 78#. Be patient and the use of a boning knife/straight edge is helpful. It will not score foil acetate well. The Maker will score foil acetate, but the Air/Air 2 will have to score it on a table by hand. Overall, it is my most used accessory in my Air 2.

Ran out to purchase yet another accessory for my new Explore Air 2, a scoring stylus. It barely touched the card stock that I used; certainly did NOT score it. It was inserted fully until the arrow was no longer visible. What to do if I want to use my machine for all the projects that require scoring? The scoring wheels, I discovered after a LOT of digging and YouTube video searches, do NOT work on my machine. Sad and frustrated.

Unfortunately the placement of the lines to be scored in the envelopes I am making for my daughter’s wedding favors did not line up with the envelopes! Same project! I am folding by hand. I’m sure the stylus will be useful down the road.
