[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a second adapter to have one at work and one at home so I don't have to carry it every day. The adapter that came with my laptop has a grounded wall plug with 3 pins while this adapter has 2 pins and is not grounded or polarized. Otherwise, it has the same rating as the original and works ok.

The charger is fine, but should sell slimmer one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Lenovo X1 Extreme comes with a slimmer, lighter charger, but the company doesn't sell that one separately, so you end up with the larger, heavier one which is not as portable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
