Great little piece of equipment.

I received this a couple weeks ago. It will be handy to have while out traveling around. Will alert you to emergency weather situations in your area. Also has AM and FM tuner, pulse 7 NOAA weather stations. Has a handy flashlight and a strobe if you need help. It's small and light, has a clock, a lanyard, and telescopic antenna. Sound quality isn't the best, but for the price and security of knowing about the weather it's very handy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this unit from Midland and it is super awesome! So easy to use and setup! I didn’t even have to read the manual at all! Every feature is self-explanatory and easy to understand! Love this little unit! Had some storms blow through yesterday and it worked great as expected!! Clear and concise weather alerts and easy to hear!! Highly recommend!!

Great little radio. The only negative(for me) is that even at the lowest volume setting the radio plays loud, unable to use headphones. Plan on calling customer service to see if this is a defect or just designed this way.

Needs better volume control.

Ok radio for the price. This radio needs better volume control. The lowest volume setting is way too loud if you're in a quiet room or want some music while you're trying to sleep. Push button volume needs to go lower with more fine tuning. Disappointed.

This radio is the smallest emergency weather radio we offer and runs off of traditional batteries. Our other radios that come with rechargeable batteries have more power. This radio is meant be a travel radio and is not meant to replace a desktop radio. It is small, portable and works with AA batteries for emergency situations not for extended use.
