I've been using both Ink cartridges and toner cartridges for over 30 years. While I thought of switching to non-HP products I always ended up staying with the HP products that had never let me down.

i am still learning the printer and i know that i will use a 2 to 1 ratio of the tri colors. this printer i have to align the paper after i put a new cartridge in it which i didn't have to do with the old one.

I used to carefully save my used cartridges and take them to a store that would refill them. It got to be a hassle. Now I proudly use new HP ink and know that I have what works.
