Quality of material and build seems very solid and smooth. I am 6’2” so when sitting in the chair the headrest comes to about my shoulder height WITH adjustment. The back of the chair height is not adjustable and is suitable for someone under 5’10”. So if you’re 5’10 or shorter this chair is great. If you’re among the elite of society and aka over six feet tall this chair is a joke and makes you feel like you’re sitting in a 3rd grader desk where everything is proportionate but just way too small. 5 stars if your short (y’all need a win sometimes too) And 1 star if your tall - shoulda known better than to trust staples could get it all right….
I really like this office chair it’s different than my old chair. Love all it does like it raises heights the arm rests can lower if need or raise up. Like the back support and head rest. The color fits great in my room. I tested it out at a Staples store first.
When I first got this chair it felt great - just what I wanted. I'd tired of the fake-leather executive chairs that didn't support the back well. This one felt perfect - good on the back good on the neck/head-support etc. But after just a couple of months I'd sit in the chair and the pneumatic height adjustment would start sinking - eventually all the way down. So I'd grab the height adjustment lever and let it back up again. But now after a long time has passed the pneumatic lifter seems to collapse just about every day unless I sit far back on the seat. It's close but it's not perfect.
I've had my new chair for about a week now and I'm happy with everything about it. Especially that I'm not experiencing the neck and shoulder pain I had with my old chair. I sit at my computer for about 10 hours a day so I felt I deserved this change and I'm so glad I did it!
