I needed a chair for at-home computer use during the quarantine. I needed a chair that sat up straight and didn't lean back otherwise I would tend to hunch forward. I tried many chairs in the store and this one felt ergonomically correct and didn't hurt my back. It has a built in adjustable lumbar support. The first day it felt like my back had re-aligned. After a couple of weeks of use my back and shoulders are thanking me. I don't feel beat up and stressed out after hours of use. I was concerned about the longevity of the mesh so I bought the protection plan.
Of course I literally just put this chair together so I have no long term experience with this chair and the future knows what kind of awful problems i may encounter later but as of now this is one of the most comfortable office chairs I've ever put my bod in and it was terribly easy to put together so if you have trouble with that kind of stuff this chair should be a no brainer for you. I can't even describe its comfort other than it being great for my back you just have to try it for yourself to truly understand. Also 7 year warranty according to the manual :D
On the positive side this chair is immensely cooler than the leather one I had before. On the downsides at 6'-3" I can barely fit comfortably between the headrest and the seat. The front edge of the seat is far too firm - my legs actually get sore from sitting on it. Perhaps this will resolve itself over time as I wear in the chair. I like that the tension on the lean is adjustable.
